Abstract

Abstract. The article attempts a cultural and historical analysis of child-parent relationships in terms of the digital footprint. Given here is the analysis of home and foreign studies in the field of digital footprint application to the psychological and sociological sciences. The ideas regard-
ing self-disclosure of children's abilities are considered in the realm of a digital footprint. There was shown the role of parents in self-disclosure of children’s abilities. Due to the parents’ internalized attentive attitude a child learns how to accept themselves. As a result, the child is
open to their experience, awareness of their own abilities and integrating them into their own self-concept. The analysis was performed in terms of the diachronic method with Google Books Ngram Viewer applied. With the online resource "Google books Ngram Viewer" the categories
of the child-parent spectrum were analyzed in terms of cultural and historical aspects. Reference dates and periods of the 20th century are taken as cultural and historical aspects The evolution of attitudes towards the child and parents is considered in terms of history. The conclu-
sion arrives at the tendencies in the development of ideas about child-parent relationships at present. Since the end of the 80s the personality-oriented teaching has been developing, with the period of the pedology banning since 1936 ended. From here arises the revision of the child’s
personality and the child-parent relationships by the social, psychological and pedagogical sciences. The development of personality in the 21th century in Russian reality is known as an individual unique development, at which point the disposition is revealed in interaction with the
social environment. The latter includes interaction and communication with parents.
